Mission Movement

Moving either individually or congregationally from being a survivor to being a non-survivor calls for numerous movements working together.

a)      The Holy Spirit (This is a movement of God and not an effort of man.)

b)      The Word and Prayer (Intentional Word and Sacrament [through which the H. S. works,] and Prayer solicitation [seeking God's leading] will be offered.)

c)      Offer Congregational Missional Opportunities for individuals and congregations.  (various levels of involvement)

1)      Local congregational involvement providing material items for missions.

2)      Local support (financial/hands on) in the community.

3)      Short term/short distance mission activity (there is no substitute for going and seeing.   Matthew 9:36)

4)      Midterm/short-mid distance mission activity

5)      Long term mission/distance mission activity

d)     Develop local and regional Ministry Plants

e)      Develop local and regional Church Plants

f)       Develop classes for individuals and congregations with the intention of developing lay members to support local, national and international congregational missions.
